Description
The Yealink T23G was one of the most widely used small business desk phones in Australia: a dependable 3-line IP phone with a backlit 132×64 display, HD voice, PoE and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. Yealink stopped selling it in June 2021, and it reached end of life on 30 September 2026, which means no more firmware updates, security fixes or manufacturer support.
What to buy instead
If you’re replacing T23G phones or adding to an office that has them, these current Yealink models are the closest match:
- Yealink T33G: 4 SIP accounts, a 2.4-inch colour screen, dual Gigabit and PoE. The natural step up from the T23G for most desks.
- Yealink T31G: 2 SIP accounts, dual Gigabit and PoE, for desks that only need one or two lines.
Both work with CloudLine’s hosted phone system and can be set up to look and work much like your existing T23G phones.
Still running T23G phones?
They will keep making calls for now, but without updates they become a growing security and compatibility risk. CloudLine can swap them out in stages and move your settings across. We also stock T3 series handset curly cords, which fit the T23 too.
